dating services?
So I just became so bored that I filled out a yahoo personals. a little sad, I know. Anybody ever do any of those online dating services? what was your experience with it? I’m really just looking to meet new people.

I got a few looks and a couple of emails when I tried yahoo,but I never had anything happen between anyone I met and me.The big problem from most dating sites is they want you to pay to talk to people you might have an interest in.They get upset if you put an email address in your about me section.It just never worked for me.I probably needed to spend more time looking.It was the convenience of using the internet that drew me to it.But it turned into a waste of time.

There are sites, agencies, and speed dating. They worked for me, but ended in very very bad relationships, so yeah, I know I gotta stop with them. It’s just so much easier than getting cold feet when asking someone out. But do they really work well for anyone?
Ha ha, I met my psycho stalker ex boyfriend on myspace! Damn, I must be doin’ something wrong….

I’ve tried a few of tghe online services… I’ve had some good dates and a few relationships of varying lengths. Overall, I’d say they are a better way to meet people as the bar/club scene. I’m still single, but I think that has more to do with me than with where I find dates.
