First Date?
I was wondering what some good ideas would be for planning a first date….like where to go what to do etc….. thx for ur input!

This depends on the person you’re taking…what exactly is their style? Classy, laid back, etc. My first date was a group date and we went paintballing, but because this was our style..just a bunch of teens having fun after a movie.
So where you plan to go should depend whether BOTH of you would have a good time, and not feel out of place. Being comfortable with the place and together would make the date wonderful.

i’m meeting a girl in 2 weeks on our first date, though i know quite a bit bout her already. what types of things do i ask her n wat type of things do i do around her? i’m pretty good at communicating and wen i’m comfortable, talking about a subject will come naturally. i’m nice, gentle (but a good karate practictioner lol), respectful and quite an open person. can anyone help me out with wat to do on the first few dates and then how to progessively be more comfortable around her and then the big one *wink* hahhah

she works REALLY fast, n i mean so fast as to WANT TO have sex on the first date. so how do i make girls like that understand that it ain’t supposed to be like that n have them know ur still really into them

You know what works for me is, jokes and laughter. I dont mean go in and tell her jokes but try to throw some humor around. Mostly every girl likes to laugh. And if she doesnt, then head for the hills, cause your in trouble.

do you think that me and my boyfriend should’ve gone on our first date already? we have been boyfriend girlfriend for like a month and a few days. we keep on tryin to go to the movies together, w/ some friends, but we keep on ending up having to do something else. oh yeah, and a second part ot the question, do you think that i should even bring friends to our first date, i think he would like me to invite some of our friends, but i would just like your opinion on it.
oh yeah, and by the way, the reason i put it on beauty and style, is because there are usually more people here.

Not necessarily. I’ve been dating my boyfriend for over a year and we didn’t have our first date until more than six weeks into the relationship. Even then, it didn’t really qualify as a “date” because we were supposed to go to prom, but we decided we’d rather do our own thing instead of being around people. Personally, I think you and him should find something to do just by yourselves with no one else around, like a picnic or something, just so you could sit and spend quality time together.

This depends on whether you’re already familar with the guy/girl you’re going on a date with. If you already know them fairly well, just ‘be yourself’. Cliched advice, but it’s true. The guy/girl obviously is already interested in you enough to want to go on a date with you, so the hardest part is already over if you know them. Try not to stress out TOO much.
If you don’t know them at all – maybe you’ve exchanged a few text messages or a phone call or two – then go to the movies and see a movie that you BOTH have been wanting to see. That way, you don’t have to worry about awkward silences but you can still enjoy yourself. Then afterwards, to start getting to know one another, go for coffee or a bite to eat. You’ll have plenty to fall back on if there’s any awkward silences.
Good advice for whether you know them or whether you don’t is to dress nicely, do your hair, make sure you smell good and have clean teeth/fresh breath. First impressions always matter. Good luck! I hope I’ve helped.
