Dean answers:
- Bowling (gives talking time)
- Iceskating/rollerskating (gives you a reason to hold her hand)
- getting icecream
- dinner and walking around the downtown of your city (also look for stuff in your city, I went on a ghost tour once, actually was romantic)
- comedy clubs
- movies at your house (if you know her well)
- the zoo/aquarium

Daniel asks…
What are some first date ideas that are very casual, and do not include restaurants or movie theatres?
All I can think of is a picnic.

Dean answers:
Well first off, YOUR a girl? Typically guys call the first date? Its like ower moment to fluff ower stuff? But if hes letting you call it. Wow that’s ” Special”
If I were U I would chose a flea market :) tons of interesting yet affordable stuff and a true opportunity to find a hodgepodge of comparable interest.
This will afford him a chance to show his generosity, interest and flexility

Michael asks…
I need some good first date ideas?
We are both 15 and next weekend we are going on our first date, any ideas of places we could go without things being awkward? Thanks muchly! :)

Dean answers:
Well, not knowing where you are…I don’t know what’s available. But a movie at a Mall, you could get something to eat, do some window shopping.
Put Put golf, carnivals, parties, school dance, video arcades or hang out with friends.

What are good date ideas for two friends who are going on their first date?
This guy and I are going on our first date when we find the time. We have been good friends for a while now, not the best of friends but we hang out all the time. We have already hooked up and want to do something that is not a dinner and a movie and preferably sometihng cheap. Any good ideas?

Dean answers:
- Walk (downtown of a major city, along the beach, in the park)
- Comedy Club (laughing is always good)
- Baseball game (great for conversation.. Lol)
- Gaming place (like Dave & Busters if you have one close by)
- Amusement Park
But the most important thing is be sure to have lots to say. The company (not what you do) is what makes a date fun.
Good luck and I would LOVE to hear how it went for you! :)

Donald asks…
What are some alternative first date ideas?
I went out last night for dinner and before I knew it I had the managers number! I’m wondering what some kind of different first date ideas would be. Since she works around food all the time I don’t want to start off by taking her to food.. but there aren’t really any good movies out right now either.

Dean answers:
My boyfriend and I’s 3rd date was fishing. It was a blast! I was the only one who caught a fish and it was like two inches long, haha. It was a really great time to relax outside, talk, and tease each other about our incompetence. Our second date was to a Steampunk show where we watched burlesque dancers and sideshow acts and gypsy punk bands while drinking old timey drinks and trying on top hats.
Around me there are also Frisbee golf courses which would make a great first date. Or mini golfing. Next time you’re out driving around, look at places that you always just drove passed before. In my opinion the best date ideas are for places that you never would have expected to go.
