what is a good first date, outfit?
I’m going on a first date with this guy i really like, and want to know what would be the perfect first date outfit, so i look like i take pride in my appearance but don’t look slutty?

It depends on where you are going and your age. Im a teen so i would do:
movies–jeans and a blousy top with lots of jewelry
dinner– either flowy skirt with a basic top&jacket or simple dress with cute heels
really casual stuff(bowling, park, etc)– jeans and a cute v-neck t-shirt with bangles, a layered necklace, and hoops

-Skinny jeans
-Brown boots w/ heel

Best First Date Outfit for Casual Dinner and Movie?
Hi There -
Hoping to get answers from both men and women on the best ‘first date‘ outfit for a casual night out. I’m thinking dinner at a not too expensive restaurant (think in the price range of Olive Garden or similar) and a movie?
Guys: Do you prefer a causal dress/skirt or something more laid back like nice jeans and a pretty top?
Gals: Which strategy have you found works best in practice?

I like the idea of a jeans skirt and one of those girly t-shirts that usually form to your body with a pair of flip flops or sandals. (assuming that you have these) This is not flashy and is very cute. Maybe even ask him what his favorite color is and wear the shirt in that color. ;)

What is a good first date outfit?
For a daytime date? I was thinking about a summer dress with brown slouchy boots or maybe jeans with boots, a pretty boho top and some chunky beads? I want something that is suitable for any weather conditions really, any suggestions?

thanks guys, i think you’re right about the jeans, at least i can take a cardigan to wear over the top if it gets cold! and definitely the wavy hair look thats what i was thinking of doing as well! :)

Hmmm. Well I’d keep it casual. Just wear one of your favorite outfits that you feel the most comfortable in. You don’t want to wear something really awkward that you’re going to be fixing all day. Like that weird pair of pants that you have to pull up every 5 minutes? Or that shirt that’s just a wee bit too short? You know, stuff like that. XD
Chunky beads? Just be carful not to wear anything too overpowering. Most boys don’t know shit about fashion, so I doubt he’ll even notice your super cute boho fashion. XD Try and aim for a more natural approach to things, to show him your natural beauty and confidence. He want’s to date you, not your outfit. ^__^

Me and the guy I like are going to the movies with some friends (cause his parents won’t let us go just me and him). We are going to see Bounty Hunter (i think) and then just hangout at the mall after. This is my first real relationship, so this date means a lot to me! I’m thinking something cute, not I don’t want to exaggerate on the fashion… Any ideas?

Just wear something similar to what you normally wear to the mall, you dont want to look out of place by dressing up. Just wear some nice dark wash jeans and a cute shirt, but not one with the name of a store all over it. One with true style to it. For shoes, i would say to wear something cute and comfortable, but defiantly NOT sporty sneakers! Leave the sport shoes for the gym…

ok im 16 its my first date this friday and no im not a loser ive been asked out before but my parents wouldnt let me date till i was 16.
ive known this guy for 3 years, hes a senior im a junior he plays football–quarter back…im a cheerleader/thats how i know him lol…he is very popular and so am i but he is incredibally experienced so i need an outfit but not somehting that looks like i spent hours picking out (he doesnt know that this is my first date)
