Do guys play hard to get and expect you to chase them? Should a girl chase after a guy?
A guy once told me that a girl shouldn’t have to chase after a guy, if he wants to get with you, he should come for you.
So do guys play hard to get and make us girls wait, just to make us nervous or “want them more”? And should a girl chase after a guy?

my ex cheated and now is saying she misses me and the guy that she was with isn’t what she wants and i am i dont know whether to believe her. Shes sending me all sorts of texts saying she cries when she thinks about me, she asks if there was ever a chance id get back with her. However she did send me a text after ignored her saying she gives up and id never hear from her again. im a little confused at what shes trying to say

Once a cheater always a cheater. She cheated on you for a reason. She was obviously more interested in that other guy to have cheated on you. If she ever loved you she would have kept her faithfulness to you. I hate girls like this. I’m a no BS no nonsense type of guy. If this were to ever happen to me I would end it like THAT! No second chance at all. You see, I’m always the faithful one so I’d expect for her to keep her end of the bargain. If she can’t then it’s over for good. PERIOD!
You should have this mentality as well. Don’t take any s.h.!.t from them or they will walk all over you.

I had a couple chasing me. I admired their courage and initiative (they were ridiculously shy).
I was a little immature at the time and I wasn’t sure what I wanted. At the time, my heart was sort of settled on someone specific so I didn’t really accepted any invites. At other times, I just didn’t see myself with the girls (some of them were acting weird and very obsessive and some weren’t really all that ‘cultured’).
Thinking back on things, I could have said yes to some of them, provided they didn’t do anything stupid.
Tbh, I would be more willing to accept a girl who did some of the chasing than those who expect the guys to, partly because of the type of girl I’m into (the ones who are confident and take a little initiative so it doesn’t seem like a one sided relationship). I definitely wouldn’t call myself a traditionalist since any person telling me that I have to make the first move is just asking me to swear at them. I wouldn’t mind making the first move, it’s just I don’t go by obligations and I don’t adhere to ‘rules’ that don’t make any sense to me.

Ok well i met this girl last week and i got her number on thursday and we’ve just texted each other but since saturday afternoon she hasn’t been the same you know, she doesn’t express her self like before and today i texted her and we has a really small convo. and then i replied to 1 of her texts and she never replied and then i sent her another 1 saying “thanks for the pic comment btw” since she left me a photo comment but she never replied so ima try not to text her tomorrow and then ill call her on wendesday but i was thinking, what can i do to make her chase me and what cute things can i say for her to like me alittle bit more??
btw we’re both 16, go to different schools and we met on myspace (no she’s not a fake, i know her friend)

Idk you’ve got to find out what she is interested in and use that to get her to pay more attention to you and then the more you talk about stuff she is interested the more she will want you

seem like this guy know i like him, he was playing games..like testing me, he knew i like him. ..i ask him out for lunch..he like rejected me.he said he needed to go study…i told him..i was dropping he didn’ say anythng he told me i can drop…so i drop
in the end..but the day i was going to drop i confeess to him that i like him..He gave me signals like talk to me stares lol..before…he didn’t say anything.when i confess.look kind of nervous or scare…i stood there for sometime…then i got piss and left….i only saw him 2 weeks
ago…he went up to me.from the side as i was walking.i kind of saw him..but i pretended nothing happen..and was happy even though i wasn’t..i was so hurt. somehow i think i was avoiding the hurt thats why i was too afraid to confront him..i
just gave up….haven’t seen him since..i still like him..but i dont know the pain its still their..he just left me hanging, i dont think he was interested….sigh..its been a month..

OMG Seriously what is wrong with me? How do you make a girl chase you again?
Like in the past my gf would send me a bunch of txt constantly beg to see me and stuff, and then I made a mistake and she left me, and then now we’re back together. The tables like totally turned I will call her all day long and she wont answer anything not giving a damn, and then she txts me at 10pm saying “sry was busy will call u tomorrow if I get a chance” and I still feel glad she even txted me!!!! I feel like she can leave me at any moment even earlier tonight she said she is working all day tomorrow and I told her can I please see her, she said no I can’t see her, and then I txted her saying all I have to see is her pretty face through the window to make me happy, and she didnt even respond back!! WTF??!! OMG I was never like this in the past, I feel she has all the control how do I turn the tables?

“Turn the tables” is exactly what you need to do. You guys’ balance got out of wack. Honestly, I haven’t been able to figure out how to fix that sort of thing. It sounds to me like you’re going to part ways. Try talking with her, try winning her back… Don’t break and say/do things you don’t mean or will regret.
