Why Would A Girl Cheat On Her Boyfriend?

So this girl I know from class has 2 jobs, she is pretty smart, and has her own apartment. She has a boy friend of 2 years and even dresses casually (like no make-up hair pulled up and glasses on) when she comes to class so guys wont hit on her. She usually is quiet but not shy and never flirts. But today for some reason she started talking to me and flirting with me. I know she has a boyfriend so I tried not to flirt with her but it was kind of hard, she was wearing makeup and no glasses (WOW!). Well she asked for my number and I was like “dont you have a boyfriend?” and she got all quiet again and she blushed. She said “yeah…” and she stopped talking to me after that. I was wondering what made her do this? She seems so responsible and mature.
