I dont want 2 do the obvious gift! what unique gift ideas could i give 2 my girlfriend (getaways, trips, etc.)?
Im tired of the jewelry suggestions and the picnic suggestions, and I want something that will spice up the relationship because I really do care about this girl and love her a lot! Are there any BnB’s in south jersey u recommend? or any daytrips that we could make something with nice views?

My girlfriend is coming to Philadelphia, we are looking for nearby romantic getaways, any help?
Thinking megabus/bolt bus accessible areas, so within a couple hours for perhaps a romantic weekend getaway. A priority though is to keep it cheap as we are on a tight budget right now.

Megabus/Boltbus run non-stop to places kinda far from Philly.
You can ride a bus to Cape May or Asbury Park, a train to Princeton in New Jersey.
Lancaster, Harrisburg, Hershey in PA are easy to get to on train or bus.
If you will be without a car, Pocono places would be out of consideration. Public transit options will take you to long-established big towns.

Galveston, TX or other girlfriend getaway ideas?
Looking to do a 4 night getaway with a girlfriend in February. We want to go somewhere that we generally wouldn’t take our kids or hubbys. Anyone heard about Galveston, TX and know if it’s a good place for that kind of thing? How’s the weather there in February? Things to do? Any other suggestions? Coming from NJ so, want to go somewhere at least a little warmer.

Galveston is a great place to visit but, February is probably not the best month. Expect daytime temps to be in the 40s or 50s and you might have cloudy skies. You could walk along the sea wall or the beach, eat at some good restaurants, and go shopping along The Strand. The best hotels are the San Luis, and The Galvez. Do not expect any nightlife or much of a party scene in February.
Consider taking a three or four night cruise out of Galveston on Celebrity cruise lines. The western Caribbean cruise is a lot of fun and the weather is warm and sunny.

I’ve been seeing this girl for a bout 6 weeks and things are going really well. It’s her birthday next weekend and I’d like to do something special for her for under $325. Any ideas?

Ontario, Canada? Sure thing – Niagara Falls. Casinos, activities everything.
Ontario, CA? Just as easy. Hop in the car and head to Palm Springs, about an hour to the east. A lot of resorts, spas, restaurants – that sort of thing.

Looking for a good site or suggestion for me and my girlfriend for a weekend getaway.We are on a bugdet of course,but willing to hear other options anyway.We are looking at San diego possibly.Thanks for the responces!

Try a romantic dinner at Peohe’s in Coronado. It has the best view of San Diego anywhere and the food is excellent. When making reservations, ask for a table with a view.
Check out the surfers at Windansea beach in La Jolla. Just north of there at low tide you can walk out onto the tide pools.
Take a walk along La Jolla Cove, visit the caves, and then head to Birch Aquarium
The Old Point Loma Lighthouse offers spectacular views of the city and whale migration. There are trails that lead down to the tide pools.
Get a Balboa Park passport and explore the museums, botanical gardens and also the zoo.

Where can I take my girlfriend on a romantic getaway?
She wants to go somewhere in the southern states. The only problem is I have no idea where to go since we live on the west coast. What southern cities would you recommend to take my girlfriend to for a nice week? Thanks in advance :)

Florida. It is in the south and it is like a resort place with the beaches and all minus the whole country bumpkin atmosphere like some places like Mississippi.

If a guy has a hot singer girlfriend, and she can speak two languages and is a semi celebrity….she’s done shows and musicals and performances all over the world.
Why would he keep in contact and have romantic getaways with his plain jane ex gf? The ex is long distance, btw and they see each other like 4-5 times a year. And she’s not all that hot, she’s chubby and her body is out of shape from having two kids
Is there something wrong here? What am I missing?
