Is God speaking to you by weird coincidence or timely Geico commericals?
If God exists, I suspect he daily considers ending the normal phenomina of “coincidence” that is constantly confused for his message.
“I got in an accident today and I was going to propose to my girlfriend, clearly God doesnt want me to marry her.”
“I heard the song ‘hes a loser’ and hour after our date, clearly thats a sign”
Isnt this the kinda stuff a lot of people do…and then, when they talk about their neat relationship with God they get into this phoney tone of voice and then go on about all these “signs”, what a scary way to live life.
Anyone ever hear a divorce justifed with this mentality? Very common.

Any kind of meaning in anything is set there by the person doing the interpreting. I think alot of times, people like to have something to point at, rather than admit that it was their own decision.

It’s the second book in the Georgia Nicolson series, the first book was angus, thongs and full frontal snogging. I read the first book and I think I’ve read this one but I can’t remember what happens. Can anybody help?

Alright men. You take dumps. Fine. It’s disgusting and a sin but God forgives it if you apologize. But what about when you give each other high-fives, invite your children into the bathroom to watch, or take a siht and then do a victory lap around the living room shouting at your wife or girlfriend to go in the bathroom and look at it? Men do this all the time and it is disgusting. GOD DOES NOT APPROVE OF CELEBRATORY DUMPING.

Its to assert my dominance. Whenever i go to work for a new place, I take a massive dump and show it to everyone, it works better than having a 9 foot penis, they understand who is in charge here.

my girlfriend got back from church camp and said god told her we shouldn’t be together. i believe we SHOULD be together. she has brought me closer to god and affected my life in a very positive way and i need help convincing her to stay with me.

The Abrahamic beliefs–Judaism, Christianity and Islam, to put them in chronological order–believe that we should all cooperate and love one another. They generally believe that young people should get married, be faithful to one another, have children, and live good, fulfilled lives.
But some people seem to think they know God’s Will more than others. And usually, when someone tells you what God wants, and it isn’t part of the above vague principles, they are saying more than they know. They are confusing God’s will with their own will.
Someone told your girlfriend that she shouldn’t marry you. She believes them more than she believes you. And that’s a trap, it’s a self-fulfilling prophesy, because if you argue against her spiritual leadership then it just proves that you are against God and his teachings and so forth, and you only want to lead her astray.
I would try once, or maybe twice, to change her mind. If that doesn’t work, you really have no options.
I had a GF who had a choice between me and this other guy who was in her church. Of course everyone in the church, people who didn’t know me at all, told her God didn’t want her ‘unequally yoked’ with an unbeliever. She got engaged to the other guy. I was heartbroken at the time, but I found another GF who believes closer to what I believe, and we are very happy now. I think she got the short end of the stick. I heard, a couple of years later, that they were getting divorced, but I didn’t look into it because by that point I no longer cared.
