How do I talk to a girl that I like on the phone?
I am really shy, and I really like this girl. I just don’t know what to say when I talk to girls, and I don’t want to screw anything up because I want to go out with this girl. Please help me.

Hi, what you could do before you make that phone call, is to sit down with a pen and paper and make a few notes on what you would like to say and how best to say it.. She will never know you have a little cheat sheet in front of you and it will give you a reference if you get tongue tied ! … You might want to write down a few notes such as something about school / mutual friends or interests movies /TV shows etc.. To start the conversation going.. Example = ” hi ______ this is _____ (if your in school and have the same class) = I was wondering if you knew what pages we were suppose to do for homework, I forget to jot it down “..etc… Then branch out in to any current event / TV show movie etc… Ask her if she saw it /liked it.. Etc… Or if she would like to see a movie with you or grab a bite to eat etc.. Good luck !

Ok, here’s what’s up. I met this girl my friend knows… two days ago, haha, not rly met but we started talking on myspace. She is really pretty and I told her. After a while I really started to like her. She told me she liked me and I responded that I thought I liked her too. I know this seems kinda early to be saying this stuff but it’s how I feel and this normally doesn’t happen this fast to me… but it did. I kept on giving her compliments, and she asked me to call her tonight… I told her I would… now, what to talk about??? I only met her a few days ago so theres lots to say, but I’m not good at this haha. I already thought of some stuff…
0. Ask her about her weekend, n stuff
1. We plan to go 2 movies (what movie/when)
2.Fav. Band
3. She had comp trouble (ask her about that)
4. How did her and my friend first meet?
5. does she smoke (most of my friends do, i’m curious and plan to get out of that one quick)
6. tell her some stories about my friend that knows her and me.
Anything more would be greatly appreciated, I mainly look for answers from girls, thanks.

You definitely have a good start right there, that will be a longer conversation than you think, trust me. And I don’t think you need much more because you guys will get side tracked and plenty of topics will naturally come up. When guys talk too much we can tell your trying too hard and it’s lame.

I’ve been texting this girl at school for a while and she just called me but I dont how or what to talk to her about. I just met her and I dont want to miss this up with awkward pauses and random things that might pop into my head. I know confidence is the key but when im on the phone with new people my mind goes blank and I dont know what to talk about. Please help!

Have you taken into consideration talking with her about the topic you usually text about, or talking to her in person since she goes to your school.

Why do girls talk two someone for two weeks straight and then all of a sudden break all communication?
Yeah a girl I met started talking to me for 2 weeks straight (on the phone, in person, and online). When I went on vacation she stopped talking to me and when I got back she gave me a lame excuse about how she was busy. She hinted that she was really interested, but then all of a sudden broke all communication with me….she even blocked me on AIM. Who does that? is this some psycho girl I’m dealing with?

Ouch! And we women wonder why men are such jerks. I think I’ve got a good idea why now – it’s because of all the crap we put you through as adolescents! I’m sorry she did that to you, it’s really sending out mixed messages. Young girls are really funny. One minute, they’ll really like you and the next, they want nothing to do with you …and you’ve just been standing there for two minutes trying to figure out what the hell’s happening. She’s not psycho, she’s just a confused teenager who will someday feel badly for treating you like this.
I suggest you totally forget about her. Ignore her 100% Don’t try to contact her, don’t call her, don’t write any letters. Ignore her. Quite often, when you ignore a girl, she’ll chase after you all the more. It’s another strange thing about girls. If you act like you don’t care, they’ll like you even more. If she doesn’t chase after you, good! You don’t want this one anyway. Next time, just act like you don’t care and see what happens….
