i have skill to talk with girls but i seem to have trouble on the phone need some advice?

Iam in a long distance relationship. Iam funny most of the time but i seem to go blank within like 5 minutes of talking. I need s ome advice on how to go into the conversation before calling her with confidence i have confidence but i am lost for conversation sometimes. anything will help I always try to ask how her day was and how her classes and stuff like that but i need some good conversation tips to help make this phone stuff easier because i hate when i don’t have nothing to talk about and how long should i talk before i hang up.
