Does anyone know any facts/statistics/percentages on online dating? Not about how much online dating services make per year (that’s all i can find)
but more on percentages on “how many couples found true love online” “how many people came across a predator online”
etc.

need help! where can i find statistics on dating in Australia?
I’m doing a big assignment for my class, society and culture. I was wondering if anyone knows how to research dating statistics, for example, the number of how many Australian men and women use online dating services etc…every time i look it up in google about a million dating websites pop up and it becomes too hard to find what i want!!! pleeease help!

Also, you may want to check out some dating sites, as they might have some statistics on them regarding how many members they sign up each year, etc.

I have found that the ratios are linked to price and expectation.
Men tend to go for the cheaper sites in expectation of getting a “hook up” where as females tend to look to top end dating sites in the hope of a relationship

Most of them can be trusted to be wrong. Just like the off line ones. Figures don’t lie. But lairs can figure.

Census (and some states) track this subject and with the 2010 Census around the corner, be prepared for another round of stats on this subject.
It’s certainly not out of the ordinary anymore (i’m in such a relationship actually) and will likely increase over time. Deal with it
