I am so turned off by republicans trying to be sexy. The polls show people are not happy with the party. Is this kind of stuff the reason why or is it scandals by people who claim to be high & mighty. What is going on with a party that says they are family values yet keep doing things they would say liberals would do?

Why is being sexual/sexy frowned upon in today’s society and seen as trashy/sl8tty?

I notice that whenever celebrities in particular decide to get a bit more sexual, or provocative, it either destroys their career, or in some cases it makes their career. Certain artists like madonna/britney can get away with it, and it works for them, or at least did at one point, but other people like demi moore and elizabeth berkley weren’t so lucky, Striptease and showgirls…almost ruined their career; heck they did.

Men..well, they can get away with it more I guess, but still, if you’re sexual, and show off your body, and wear clothes that are like that, people just think you’re trashy, sl8tty, and treat you badly.

Heck certain clothes even like abercrombie & fitch which aim to make people look more attractive/sexual….they get talked down upon alot and people call them sl8ts, and wh0res for looking how they do and dressing that way.

Our society on one hand …is very liberal with the way it dresses, and we even have a porn industry here, and everyone secretly, or many people enjoy sex , and sexual good looking people, nice bodies,..all of that,

but when it’s out in public…it’s a HUGE no no, no one wants to see it, and you get called trashy, etc.

why is that so frowned upon in society?

Global warming is good for the planet?

Why do liberals wana stop global warming if its good for the planet? It makes women wear sexy clothes which we love

and samlady45 told me that “studies actually show that warm periods in history tend to be prosperous times for an agricultural production. if anything, a little warmer climate is doing some good. a lot of south american countries are having very good crops recentally from this global warming”.

Which would explain why hot areas have droughts and globally why we have a food shortage and water shortages in some areas.

should i tell my husband about this or not?

well i know this is a bit of a weird question, but me and my husband have 3 children, now our eldest is 16, and she has been doing dance and just performing arts in general as a hobby for 13 years.

For the last 6 months she has been in this dance group, and its only for people over 16.

Now she has got a performance in 5 weeks, and we still haven’t told my husband yet, now i know i shouldn’t lie to him or hide things but honestly he would die if he went.

Because its for older girls the dances are a bit more raunchy, that’s why anyone under 16 (age of consent here in the UK) can’t join. we were both ok with the fact she might be doing more sexual dances (like in music videos, the ones with sexy dancing in) but knowing and seeing it are quite different.

Now both me and my husband are very liberal parents, we are open about sex, relationships etc with our kids, and we think once they are of age they can do what they like as long as they are honest and safe. So my daughter has been sexually active for a couple of months and the day after she told me and my husband about it because she never lies to us to be honest.

Now my husband was ok about that, but he is a lot less liberal than me about sexual things, now my daughter showed me a bit of one of the dances the group were going to perform, and i even thought wow that’s a bit woah. Think pussycat dolls (in the buttons video) plus a pole dancer, and a bit of a lap dance. Because although its very sexual its still dancey, its not just like a lap dance its dancing but it pushing the line between dancing and being an erotic dancer. (i’m sorry i’m not very good at getting things across but i hope you get the idea)

I’m ok with it, but i know my husband would die if he saw our daughter dancing like this she is doing a 6 song set, and only one of the dances is quite sexual, but still. I will be going to the show, but i still don’t know whether to tell my husband, because even if i tell him its very sexy he will still want to go, because he probably won’t believe or want to believe its as sexy as i say. But when he does see it he will either die inside, or just walk out, and make a scene.

The other issue is our daughter is also doing a singing performance in the show, and she wants her dad to be there to hear her sing, but she wants him to come for the singing and then go for the sexy dance, because she also doesn’t want him to see her dancing like that.

Its one thing knowing your daughter is having sex, and doing a sexy dance but its another to actually see it.

so what would you do, be honest to your husband and then let him get upset and pretty angry, or not tell him about it, and just hope he doesn’t find out in the future.

Lady Gaga’s used thong?

i guess everyone knows how open and liberal lady gaga is about sexualitly in general. but i once read a long interview with lady gaga in which she talked alot about how feels being seen as a sex symbol and all that, and at one point she told a very interesting story:

she told how at one show somewhere in australia (don’t remember where), there was this one 15 year old boy who had won backstage tickets at some magazine’s competition and a meeting with her after the show. so after the concert he met her backstage and talked with her a little and whatever, and in the interview she said how cute he was to her and how flattered she felt by him, when he confessed to her how much he adores her and how he fantasizes about her and how sexy he finds her and all that. in fact she felt so flattered by him and found him so cute, that when she gave him the usual presents like autographed CDs and posters and stuff, she did something else too, but i better quote her here from the magazine in which the interview was:
