A friend of mine dressed up in an outfit that looked like Neo from The Matrix and ran around the food court at Iowa State playing his sax like the Sexy Sax Man, but he got no video of it. Does anyone have any video of it so he can see it? Thanks!

Really annoying song to be played on saxophone?

I am planning to do a mock/copy/whatever version of the infamous youtube video “sexy sax man“, but feel that doing the same song (Careless Whisper by George Michael) is too lame.
Is there any song on the sax that would be as annoying to play in public as that? Famous enough to be recognized.
Like a saxophone “Friday”.
Well, that’s fabulous and all, but that’s just an ugly hat.
Songbird is the first other song I thought of, yeah, proly a good option.
Can’t find “Nola”, or whatever that is. Besides something on the guitar….
And noice, baker street could work, never heard of that before

Hey everyone. Coming back to share with one of my favorites. This was written almost 5 years ago during one of my creative writing classes in college. Written in the dramatic monologue style.

Jazz Conversation

Damn! Give me a moment. Heaven, help me!
There’s no one here. Won’t you let me think? Now,
Let us listen to the rain. By and by
A sultry sax blown blues swells, my baby.
That cool hot lick floating on our midnight
Hour. And I see your head bop, digging the groove
The jazz sax lays down. Misty melody,
My God, you heard it! Kalliope has
Carried it to your essence. Does it dance
Like the flashing lights on the billboard there?
You laugh and I know that dimple in your
Cheek. Yes, that tell-all revealer of joy -
Why do you hide it from us? I feel that
Smooth moving bass line reverberating
Through your hand. Sense it in my heart. When you
Feel my foot on yours, the rhythm catches
My soul too. The floor’s empty and the band’s
In the back – when I get my arms ‘round you –
The falling and moving and dancing and
Ecstasy. You can see why piano

A relaxed soli from the lone trombones.
