And YES, a bride should be able to wear her bra and panties if she wants to for her wedding. It’s her wedding, plain and simple.

I watch bridal shows sometimes, and many women, when choosing their wedding dress, look for sexy dresses that show off their cleavage/waist/hips whatever. (they actually tell the people at the dress store they want to look sexy…)

No, I do not. A wedding day is a religious celebration. It should be about uniting two people with Jesus Christ. Modesty isn’t just appropriate, it’s an obligation.
Instead of the bride thinking “I want everyone to be looking at ME, she should think, I want everyone to worship God today…”
The wedding night is for the sexiness.

Thanks for your answers everyone! The midriff isn’t considered “sexy” in India.. Its just like your arms or legs.. All sarees reveal the stomach area. Its not inappropriate.. Even older women, like my mother and my grandma, wear sarees.
