Mom Talk

Moms, both yours and hers, can be crazy subjects to try and navigate. As a rule, you should never compare her in any way to her mother. Those mother-daughter relationships are pretty intense and so complicated that you’ll never find your way out of that one.

Also, you might think that talking about your mom makes you seem sensitive, but it really will probably just make you look like a mama’s boy, and that’s not gonna get you many second dates. And no girl ever wants to feel like she needs to compete for your affections with another woman — even if it’s your mom.
